Ms Aydee was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, where she earned a bachelor degree in Law and Social Studies from “Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon." She is bilingual and bicultural; she is married and a mother of 3 teenagers.
Ms Aydee started working with children 10 years ago in McAllen, TX, where she was a preschool co-teacher at First United Methodist Church. After that she moved to Indiana where she worked at St. Mary’s of the Knobs Catholic School first as a PK teacher then she began teaching Spanish to children from Kindergarten through 6 Grade. She took the AMS 3-6 Montessori Primary Training and taught at International Lavalette Montessori Institute”for 4 years as a lead teacher before she moved to Arizona. She joined our school as a lead teacher at the start of the school year of 2014.
She enjoys working with young children and seeing their proud faces when they complete a work by themselves. She believes that the Montessori Method is an amazing way to provide the child with an appropriate environment to learn at their own pace which helps them to internalize the information in a natural way. Her favorite Montessori quote is: “The child can only develop fully by means of experience in his environment. We call such experience WORK”

Sidney Lamb, Toddler Community Guide
Sidney started working with DSM last summer as an assistant teacher and absolutely love this school. She studied Child Development in college, and have had a passion for teaching for as long as she can remember. She learned of the Montessori method earlier this year and intends to use this philosophy in teaching, as well as her everyday life. The Montessori method makes the most sense of all the teaching methods and philosophies she has studied. She has developed respect for Maria Montessori, and has committed to studying and learning more about how she can perfect her teaching with the Montessori method in mind.
Sidney is currently enrolled in the Center for Guided Montessori Studies infant/toddler certification program. She is excited to apply her learning and studies into the classroom.
Sidney is honored to work as a co-lead teacher in the toddler classroom, and work with these wonderful children. She loves witnessing the learning process of children, they are so in tune with their curiosity and passion to learn more about the world around them, it is truly inspiring. She hopes to provide an environment that is loving and peaceful, to better each individual child's development and learning.

She enjoys using her free time doing competitive ballroom dancing, writing/reading and attempting to cook. She looks forward to experiencing many amazing milestone with you and your child this year!
